Quiz Generator (4-choice quiz)

When players are struggling to guess a track, the Host of the game can decide to help them by turning the classic round into a multiple-choice (4 answers) quiz. Play Guess and Reveal includes a smart quiz engine able to generate coherent options on the fly.

How the Quiz works

The quiz generator relies on Apple Intelligence to analyze the current song and suggest relevant alternative choices (the "distractors"). These false choices are selected to match the same musical style, era or world, so that the answer doesn't become too obvious.

The Host can choose to generate a 4-choice quiz for one of the following four elements:

• The Title of the track
• The Artist or band
• The Album
• The Year of release

How to launch a Quiz (Host side)

1. During a round, on the host's screen, each field to guess (Title, Artist, Album, Year — only those enabled for the game and known for this song appear) carries its Quiz button.
2. Tap Quiz next to the field you want. The app briefly analyzes the track to find three wrong but believable options, shuffled in with the correct answer.
3. The question and the 4 choices go straight to the players' screens; the button is struck through for this round, one quiz per field.

If the catalog doesn't provide enough believable options for this song, the app tells you and nothing is sent to the players. The quiz needs a song from the Apple Music catalog.

Player interface

As soon as the Host triggers the quiz:

• The question ("Choose the correct artist", "Choose the correct year"…) and then the 4 options appear on the participants' screens.
• Each player taps the option they believe is right. The first to tap the correct one takes the floor, exactly as if they had buzzed: the host is notified, the music pauses, and points are awarded as usual.
• A wrong option costs nothing and notifies no one: the player can try another as long as answers are open.
• Note: the question is written in the language of the host's device, like the AI hints.

By offering a limited set of choices, the Quiz generator helps revive the momentum of a difficult round, while keeping the suspense fully intact!
