Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern the use of the applications published by HTKapp, whatever system they run on and whatever channel you obtained them through. By downloading or using one of our applications, you fully accept these terms.

2. Applications concerned

These Terms of Use apply to all applications published under the HTKapp developer account, including: HtkDoli, HtkPDF, FST, Play Guess and Reveal and TrackInvent.

3. Subscription and payment

Some applications are offered as a monthly subscription, others as a one-time purchase, others again free of charge. For applications distributed on the App Store, payments are handled exclusively by Apple: HTKapp has no access to your banking information, and any refund request must be addressed directly to Apple.

For those subscriptions, renewal is automatic at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your Apple account settings.

HtkDoli is offered as a monthly subscription priced at €4.99 per month, with no free trial. The subscription unlocks all features of the application. It is charged to your Apple account upon confirmation of purchase, then renewed automatically each month at the same price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple account settings.

HtkPDF is offered as a monthly subscription priced at €0.99 per month. The subscription unlocks all features of the application. It is charged to your Apple account upon confirmation of purchase, then renewed automatically each month at the same price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple account settings.

Play Guess and Reveal is offered as a monthly subscription priced at €0.99 per month. The subscription unlocks all features of the application. It is charged to your Apple account upon confirmation of purchase, then renewed automatically each month at the same price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple account settings.

TrackInvent is free to download, and its core features — items, categories, alerts, notifications, iCloud sync, backups and CSV import — are free with no time limit, with two locations per session and a single session. The TrackInvent Pro option lifts both limits and unlocks barcode scanning, reading of printed expiry dates and CSV export; it is a monthly subscription priced at €1.99 per month, charged to your Apple account upon confirmation of purchase, then renewed automatically each month at the same price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple account settings. When the subscription ends, the free version's limits apply again — to creation only: data already present, including anything a backup, an import or iCloud brings in beyond them, always remains accessible and editable. It is acquired permanently, for every device linked to your Apple ID, with no further charge.

HtkCloudSync is free of charge, with no in-app purchase and no subscription. It is not distributed on the App Store: its installation package for Ubuntu is downloaded from htkapp.com. No payment is therefore involved, and the Apple-specific provisions above do not apply to it.

4. Intellectual property

All content, interfaces, graphics, logos, icons and features of HTKapp applications are the exclusive property of HTKapp and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution or use is strictly prohibited.

Data from Open Food Facts, a collaborative database independent of HTKapp, is excluded: the list of food categories offered by TrackInvent is an extract of its taxonomy, published under the ODbL (Open Database License), and the packaging photos it displays are published under the CC BY-SA licence.

5. Limitation of liability

HTKapp strives to keep its applications operational and up to date, but cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the applications. The use of the applications is the sole responsibility of the user.

Data from Open Food Facts (a product's name, category and photo, food categories) is collaborative: it may be incomplete or inaccurate, and must be checked by the user.

6. Applicable law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
